Here’s the truth – men and women are clueless about each other. Yes, there are those few individuals who are able to know what the other gender wants. However, for the most part men and women just don’t understand each other. This really comes down to socialization. Men and women are raised and socialized throughout their lives to value different things.
The different perspectives men and women have are what often leave women uncertain about what guys want. While the exact aspects a man wants from a women will vary, one thing that most men want is admiration. Receiving admiration from a woman will often do more to increase her attractiveness than even her beauty!
In fact, many times men will cheat not because the other woman is more beautiful or more fun or because he fell in love with her. Often, a man will cheat because she was able to make him feel admired more than his partner did. This is especially true for long, established relationships. While a man may be nagged and chided by his partner on a regular basis, the other woman may make him feel important and respected. This makes him an easy target for seduction by the other woman.
Please do not take this as a justification for cheating – it’s not. However, it is meant to show you just how much men want to be admired. So, what does this mean to you if you’re a woman trying to get or keep a man? Make him feel admired! Work on finding ways to show that admiration to him. Simply doing so will act as an effective defense against the advances of other women.
Remember that every encounter and minute spent together will either strengthen or weaken your relationship. Yes, this is only one thing guys want – but it is a very powerful part of what will attract him to you. Using this knowledge will go a long way toward strengthening your connection with him.
